Coles County Tree Co. is four people in Charleston, Illinois, and that's by choice. Whoever sizes up your tree usually cuts it, and whoever picks up the phone knows this week's schedule.
Owner & Climber
Dale grew up outside Lerna and spent nine seasons on a utility line-clearance crew across Coles, Cumberland, and Douglas counties before starting the company in 2014 with one bucket truck and a chipper. He still climbs, still handles the tricky takedowns near houses and lines, and still sees most jobs in person before they're booked.
Estimates & Scheduling
Megan usually answers when you call. She books the estimate visit, sends the written price, and keeps storm season's pile of calls in order when they arrive faster than the crew can reach them. Want to know when the truck's coming? Ask Megan.
Crew Lead & Equipment
Tyler runs the equipment: the bucket truck, the chipper, the stump grinder, and the clearing gear on land jobs. On a removal near a structure he sets the rigging and runs the ground while Dale or Andre is in the tree, and he's the reason the yard is clean when the truck pulls out.
Climber / Groundman
Andre climbs the trees the bucket can't reach, like the tall oaks in the back corner of a lot or the sycamores over a creek bank, and works the ground on everything else: rope work, sectioning trunks, feeding the chipper, and hauling brush.
